About Us

Here at Simple Safety Solutions we are passionate about baby and child safety, having already having over 10 years of experience providing finger guards to thousands of schools and nurseries via our sister company Fingershield (UK) Ltd.

Simple Safety Solutions was created in 2009 with our team values of quality, flexibility, value and of course our commitment to child safety at its core. We have since been providing customers across the UK with a multitude of products designed to keep children safe around the home, in the car and on the move.

In line with our commitment to providing the most innovative products to our customers we are constantly reviewing our product range to ensure we provide a good mix of products at excellent prices. But of course we don’t stop there, we are always looking for new and innovative products to add to the range to ensure we offer our customers a wide variety of choice.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Pricing Information

All prices quoted are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) of 17.5% unless stated otherwise. Delivery of goods less than £50.00 (£49.99 or under) will incur a charge of £4.95 for postage and packaging.

Any transactions over the value of £50.00 will recieve free shipment to mainland UK only (this doesn't include Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands).

Price Promise

To qualify for the 5% Price Promise, you (the customer) must ensure that:

1. You are quoting us the total price including any delivery costs and that the prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate.

2. That the price you are quoting us is not from Ebay or any other auction website as we do not recognise prices from these type of websites.

3. That the price you are quoting us is not part of a bundle, a current discount offer or promotion as these are not fixed prices and will therefore not be accepted.

Simple Safety Solutions.com reserves the right to withdraw the 5% Price Promise offer from any customer who does not honour our above policies.


Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2-3 business days .

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

What to do with Faulty Items

You have a maximum of 72 hours to report an item's fault: it is important that you check over your item once you have recieved it (even if you are not going to use the product straight away). Any faults reported after a 72 hour period will not be refundable.

Simple Safety Solutions.com do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Under the Comsumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 7 working days after the date of delivery. The consumer will be responsible for the return postage costs.
