The WhyCry Baby Monitor is designed as a guide to reassure parents rather than replace important natural instincts, which develop over time.

It was created by a first-time dad and engineer who was frustrated at not knowing why his son was crying. After five years of research he was able to identify common themes within babies’ cries, such as energy, frequency, pitch, breathing and cycle. His creation, the WhyCry Baby Monitor, is already hugely popular in America and Asia and currently used in 22 countries worldwide.

It is recommended by the Spanish Association of Midwives, and has accreditations from California University and the Paediatric Society of Japan. It has also been verified by hospitals worldwide including Spain and Canada.

 Dr Jose Rabano, who assessed the product for the General Hospital of Catalonia in Barcelona said: “WhyCry is a valid instrument to aid the early stimulation and the emotional development of the baby from their first days of life.”

This new and redesigned version of the product features a smaller unit with digital display including mood, humidity, and room temperature.
